I will never get tired of seeing really good watercolors. It's something I do worse than speak languages I don't actually know.
Watercolor can really capture a sense of the transcendental, by blending fine lines with blurry spaces; by blending vision with feeling. I think you've done a wonderful job here, and your color scheme choice is different than I'd expect for a piece like this. Always nice to see a girl depicted with brown hair (rather than black or blond). And it isn't too dark. That's quite different.
My favorite part (aside from the overall message) is the upper right hand corner. The swirl is so murky (and yet flows so well) that it just speaks to me. Love it. It's a great work, you should really be proud. Congrats on the DD!
pretty haunting piece kinda reminds me of ring around the roses after plague suffers, when they smelled sweet sents to cover up the vileness from there afflictions, and would cough up blood. kinda captures the beautiful mask they put on but there infection shows up from within via the blood on the rose which she may have coughed up and the tears of black
